Giant Neighborhood Yard Sale
At High Point Cafe, Allens Lane
Live Music, $5 Crepes, Philly CowShare and More
Mt. Airy, PA – October 11, 2012 – High Point Cafe, just entering its 5th year at the Allens Lane Train location (corner of Allen’s Lane and Cresheim Rd.) will host a Giant Neighborhood Yard Sale on Saturday, October 20 from 10am – 4pm.
The 12th Annual Giant Neighborhood Yard Sale is sponsored by and benefits the Airy-Nippon-Bryan-Cresheim Town Watch group. After 12 years, the Giant Yard Sale has become a staple of the community with over 30 households participating every year. The yard sale brings out neighbors to sell an array of items including children’s clothes and toys, books, house wares, clothing and much more. Open to the public, it’s a yard salers dream! People come from all around for the great bargains and to socialize with friends and neighbors.
Along with the Yard Sale, a full day of activities are also planned. Philadelphia Cowshare will be on hand taking orders for their local, hormone free, grass fed beef shares of 1/8share to a whole cow! Like they say “Cows are big, Share!” Local farmstand from Heritage Farm will have the grand finale of their weekly farmstand outside the Allens Lane High Point Café selling fresh local produce grown without pesticides on the campus of the Methodist Home for Children.
Adding to the festivities, there will also be live music all day and a magic show to entertain kids and adults alike! The festivities are enhanced by High Point Cafe’s offering of $5 crepes all day long. A tradition that High Point is thrilled to continue, on it’s 4th anniversary at the Allens Lane Train Station Location (it’s original location on Carpenter Lane celebrated 7 years in July), the folks at High Point will make you ANY CREPE on the menu for just $5. Huge savings means LOTS of happy tummies!
A full day of Music, Food, Bargains and FUN! The 12th Annual GIANT Neighborhood Yard Sale will be the best thing going Saturday, October 20th from 10am - 4pm at the Allens Lane Train Station on the corner of Allens Lane and Cresheim Road!
