Moonlight Movies in Mt. Airy
This summer, once again enjoy free movie screenings outside at the Lovett Library Park (6945 Germantown Avenue). The event, hosted by Mt. Airy USA and the Free Library of Philadelphia in partnership with Trolley Car Diner, runs from Friday, June 20th through Friday, August 15th. Movies begin promptly at 8:30 pm.

Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, family and friends!
In the case of inclement weather, movies will be shown at Mt. Airy Presbyterian Church (13 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave). Enter through the front door.

Mt. Airy USA is looking to raise $6,000 over the next three weeks via online crowdsourcing platform Indiegogo. The campaign falls just before the start of the paired Lovett Park summer series "Moonlight Movies in Mt. Airy" and "Dining Under the Stars." Funds will go toward purchasing permanent furniture for the green space. (Newsworks)

Moonlight Movies Schedule 2013
Movies begin at 8:30 pm. Seating on the green starts at 8PM. Last year, the following films – selected based on results from a public on-line survey– were shown. Stay tuned for this year's line-up:

Dining Under the Stars
In addition to twice as many screenings as last year, viewers can also look forward to Dining Under The Stars. From 6:30-8:30 pm each Friday, a handful of pop-up guest food vendors will set up just outside the park site for an al fresco dinner service. Mt. Airy USA will be setting up bistro tables and chairs to accommodate hungry movie-goers who want to come early and grab a bite. Visitors can expect a rotating mix of food trucks and local restaurants vending at Lovett Library Park.
